This Hollywood film is talking about the development of relations of three heroes. Two lost hearted because of their personal tragedies men college professors in the past and the young seeking her way in life lady their died acquaintances daughter in whoose hause these fellowes are living after her death. The girl mooves into the same place and helps these men to return to normal life.

She by her tenderness and patience touches their souls and makes them stop falling. At the same time these former teachers help her on her feet. The girl completes her study in a high school and builds up her own life. By the time they are getting closed and start to reveal to each other their deepest secrets and their seemed to be not connected lives are turned to be put together. From her mothers letters the girl finds out that one of the main heroes of the movie-Bobby Long is her father.
